We are so excited to bring you Ms, Reemah and Mr. Slaughter who are visiting us from Atlanta. They have strived to create space and support in the queer and BIPOC community particularly through rope.

They will be offering 4 separate classes to meet the needs of various skill levels of our local community. Some may be taken in succession. Please read the descriptions carefully so you can sign up for the appropriate class for you!

Classes Offered:

  • Rope 102 Sat Apr 26. 10am-1:30pm (SOLD OUT)

  • Suspension 101 Sat Apr 26. 4-8pm

  • Suspension 102 Sun Apr 27, 10a-1:30pm

  • Shapes and Transitions Sun Apr 28, 4-8pm (One spot left!)

* Suspension 101, 102 and Shapes and Transitions can be taken sequentially.

Thiese classes are open to all genders/expressions/backgrounds/identities.

Rope 102 (SOLD OUT!)

Sat April 26, 10a-1:30pm

The main focus of this class is to provide skills on how to easily handle rope, create rope scenes, and learn various frictions and lock offs. Appropriate for beginners. Some familiarity with single columns will be helpful (will briefly review during class). We will also discuss rope bottoming skills and effective communication.

  • Great for beginners or someone who has lightly tinkered with rope.

  • Please bring 2-4 hanks of rope

Suspension 101

Sat April 26, 4-8pm

In this class we will explore how to build suspendable harnesses. This includes determining types of harnesses to be used based on person, body, and vision for the scene.

  • This is an intermediate beginner class for those who have a firm grasp on the foundational aspects of rope bondage.

  • Must know a non-collaspible single column, have a repertoire of harnesses (will review how to make functional/suspendable, if needed),

  • At least 6 hanks of rope.

Suspension 102

Sun April 27, 10a-1:30pm

This class we will learn how to create and place attachment lines, and important body mechanics to consider for the top and bottom during suspension. This is an advanced beginner class for those who have a firm grasp on the foundational aspects of rope bondage. Must know a noncollaspible single column, have a repertoire of harnesses (will review how to make functional/suspendable, if needed), and at least 6 hanks of rope.

Shapes and Transitions (ONE SPOT LEFT)

Sun April 28, 4-8pm

In this class we will discuss how to build a suspension scene and go through a transition sequence. We will discuss thought processes, trouble shooting, transitions, and communication between top and bottom. This is an advanced class for those who are already suspending. 6-8 hanks of rope is needed.

  • You can receive a refund 30 days prior to the event for your ticket(s).

  • Within 30 days of the event, there are no refunds unless the ticket(s) can be transferred to another person.

Presenter Bios:

Ms.Reemah

Ms. Reemah is a queer woman of color from Atlanta. She has been a part of the kink community since 2017. Ms. Reemah came up in the sisterhood Black Femme Doms (BFD)-Atlanta and is the founder of Haus Obsidian. Ms. Reemah derives immense joy and connectedness through rope play. There is an intimate connection between a rigger and rope bottom that is profound and like no other. Rope bondage also provides her with an outlet for creativity by manifesting the beauty and strength of the bottom. Ms. Reemah has taken active strides to increase the visibility, education, participation, and awareness of BIPOCs in the kink community. She finds this work important to create safer and equitable spaces for all.

Her teaching and performance repertoire has included: Shibari Study, Queer Rope. Ropecraft, Twisted Windows, Folsom, Devil Mask Studio, Threshold LA, Domcon, Sex Down South and CURE.

Mr. Slaughter (They/She)

Mr. Slaughter is a seasoned Professional Dominatrix with a talent for understanding and dealing with the challenges of BDSM and Kink Education over the past 7 years. Renowned for their expertise in creating safe spaces for QBIPOC, rope suspension, and helping those who have experienced trauma reintegrate into the scene. Equipped with 11 years of lived experience in the scene, they keep their finger on the pulse of community needs.
