It’s our 1 Year Anniversary!

We cannot believe our first year has flown by…
When the dream to open a rope studio first began to take form, we had a vision of a community space. For the community, supported by the community and always looking to grow the community. We could not have imagined how amazing, sometimes daunting but always fulfilling the studio would become in just 1 year. None of it would be possible without the help, support and love from every single person that walked through our doors, helped to hang heavy beams, donated funds and supplies, taught classes, performed, filled out feedback forms, gave us suggestions and spread the word about our little space that learned how to fly.
From the bottom of our hearts, to the tips of our wings…Thank you. We are so incredibly excited for the future and we are always reminded of one of our guiding principles:
“We hope that through rope and bondage, we will each find that path to tap into our deepest most authentic selves and be able to express it in a supportive and affirmative environment.”

As a way to give back to our community, we will have food, games and prizes and a special performance from Veers and Violet.
Who are Veers and Violet?
As owners of BLRS and partners in life, Veers and Violet share a life and similar goal regarding rope and bondage. They firmly believe rope bondage offers an opportunity to learn, grow and heal through self-reflection and connection. They lead BLRS with a vision that supports a space where others can be free. Free to express themselves as they want, free to learn from others, free to develop and practice all the necessary skills to enrich their lives in a safe and communal way. Amongst many of their passions, Veers and Violet share in their love of rope and kink and the primal nature of what it is to be human. They believe in challenging ourselves to strip away all the modern constructs and social norms and by doing so, opening up our hearts and minds to the core of who we truly are.
Logistics/Timing:
The studio is hosting SRM #11 which is set to end at 630p. The event will lead right into our party.
Doors open 630pm and you are welcome to come/go at any time.
It’s a party! There will be food, drinks, games and prizes!
It’s still a jam. Bring your rope!
Performance time will be announced to ticketed attendees
You are welcome to BYO dinner, snack or drinks that make you comfortable at our studio.
Alcohol is typically not encouraged but if you do want to consume, please note that if you appear unsafe or disrespectful, then you will be asked to leave.
Reminder for Attendees:
This rope jam is open to those who have been vetted and already been to the studio previously and one guest (+1). Your guest is not required to have been to BLRS before.
There is no prerequisite of experience or skill level, just respect, open-mindedness and courtesy towards one another and the venue.
Tickets:
$40 + Paypal processing fee $1.95 = Total $41.95
Tickets are per person.
The space is intimate, and attendance will be capped to allow everyone to be able to socialize and play comfortably.
